I recently acquired a John deere 430. I must say the tractor is awesome..I love the diesel! It came with a 54" blade but did not come with a frame extension. I've tried searching on here as well as the net. And I'm still not clear if i need one!?

You will need one because of the long nose. They can still be bought new from the dealer, but you have to buy it in individual parts. Ebay would be the best bet to get one or a wanted at here.

You also would need a frame extension for a snow blower (for those in the climates that need them and reading this thread). As well as a PTO extension. Same for a from broom which you might want one day (i.e. 51 broom).
