SO I change the fluids in my 430 today. WHen I went to fill the transmission back up I put 4.6 quarts like the manual says and it was still not full. I looked in the manual in a different spot and it says 7.5 with hydros. Do I need to put that much in there? I have front ports but nothing else. On the back tube it is about one inch lower than the glass. SHould I add more or leave as is?

Just add oil till its in the middle of the site glass. I never pay attention to what JD says because that's if you started with a completely dry system.

If you think that will be bad - put what JD says for a rear 2000 RPM PTO. A filled case doesn't allow for what they say. Make sure you don't have a bubble in the sight glass preventing you from seeing it. I had that issue once and had to drain some back off.

I don't know, but my thought is that the transmission cooler might add extra capacity. ? That is ASSuming the 300 and 400 rear ends hold the same amounts.

Well-the 332/330/322 don't have the cooler, the 318/420 both do. Can't remember if the 316 have a cooler. Either way- I would just the sight glass.
