I've noticed that my positive battery cable terminal has a pretty good bit of corrosion inside of the crimped part of the terminal. Does anyone know what gauge wire is used for the positive battery cable? I want to pickup and install a new ring terminal onto the positive battery cable and wanted to be sure that I'm getting the right ring terminal.

You may want to make a new cable. Lots of time the corrosion has spread into the wire as well. Maybe able to purchase new thru mother Deere or close length from an auto parts store. Always go bigger on size of wire than smaller to insure plenty of proper voltage and current

Thanks for the thoughts. A new positive battery cable from Madam Deere (AM115500) is about $35. It is 30-3/4" long. I was trying to avoid replacing the cable, since there is extra length already in the cable on the battery end and I can cut the corroded section of wire out and crimp on a new ring terminal.
