evening guys will a 5 post 110 ignition switch work on jd 60 wire harness snaps right on bottom 3 post on the 110 switch

No it shouldn't but could. 60s had magneto ignition and most 110s had battery coil. Some 1968s and maybe 1969 110s used magnetos but most did not. On the back of the switches where the plug goes there will be letters. Make sure the letters match. M for example is for magneto, S is for solenoid (starter), B is for battery, I is for ignition and so on. If you run 12 volts to the magneto you will burn up the coil. Roger
