the button on the lift lever gets stuck inside and doesnt release inside of the lever i cant pull it out by hand but is very hard. would the rod be bent and if so how would you fix it?

Ethan, the top finger push button unscrews and you can spray a lubricant down the handle. This will free it up. Also spray lube on the lower assembly, locator notches ,ect.
