Hi all. I am looking for a wiring diagram or picture of the wires on the key switch on my 70. When I got it the wires were pulled from the switch. I can get it to crank but no spark. If i momentarily ground the white wire it will fire the spark plug 1 time. If some body has a picture, wiring diagram or a link to find a wiring diagram then I would really appriciate your help
Thank you
John

Here is one from the JD manual. Double click and it will get bigger. The switch only has 3 terminals. B for battery, S for solenoid and M or G for grounding the magneto to stop the engine. I have seen both M and G. May be Terry can enlarge the drawing as I can't. Roger

John, also depends on the year/SN. The later 70s had a different ignition switch and the colors went to different posts. The attached shows the earlier models (SN < 56,000) in the inset box. I just made the wiring harness for my 70 that I'm restoring and it's fresh in my head if you need anything.
