It looks like there are 2 gaskets between the carb. and the intake on the K321AS engine for a 140.

I think I only have one on mine. Who knows about this?

Some engines had 2 gaskets and a plastic insulator between the carburetor and the engine. My 214 is like that. Some didn't have this. I would put in what JD parts says it should be. Roger

When I checked JD Parts Online, it showed 2 gaskets. I sometimes don't understand those pages very well the first time.

I mean, it shows 2 identical looking gaskets for the 30,001+ 140's. I thought maybe I'd missed something and each part number was for a different carb. or they broke the SN's down further.

Having a gasket on a gasket seemed weird to me.

I think the $12 one is substantially thicker

Kb the $12 one is the thicker plastic insulator gasket and the picture/drawing doesn't show its true thickness. Roger
