On the K341 in my 300, I found the "S" and "T" timing marks on the fly wheel and filled them in with a white grease pen. I checked the timing with a timing light and could see the spark mark through the hole. It was a little higher than center. I'm assuming its OK as long as its in the window. Is that a true statement?

Nick, according to the manual the "S" should be centered in the hole for proper timing.

Thanks Stan. I overlooked that in the manual. I forgot I have a dial back light that I can use and see what it is set at.
