You can get 18x8.5 V-61s in 6 ply. I got mine from Miller Tire several years ago.

Mike,

The 5-lug front hubs could accept either the 10 inch rims or the 8 inch...and there are a selection of aftermarket rim widths that can be had in each. The V-61 tires only come in 8 inch rim size, so that is the best known choice for an 18 inch mounted tire diameter with a stiff sidewall and a good weight rating -- both good traits for a loader application. Here are those two rim choices in my herd...the smaller one had the Carlisle ribbed tires that were NOTHING like the Vredesteins!

Tim,

It might depend on what deck you have.

The 18 inch front tire diameter just kisses the front edge of a fully raised model 46 deck at full steering lock -- I never thought that I could explain that unique set of conditions properly to my wife, so to be completely safe we just put the deck on the other tractor with the smaller front tires...

The large rear wheels/tires (26-12.00 x 12 on 9.5 wide rims) also come a bit close to the deck when up. I don't know how a 50 inch deck would fit, but I know that the 41 inch deck's anti-scalp wheels hit those same rear tires when they were on the 317 tractor.

Here is a full view of both 322 tractor stances with stock sized rubber on the left and the larger tires on the right.

Tim,

CUTs and some of the Special Edition x500 & 700 tractors use this 5 lug hub that fits right onto the metric spindles. I lucked into the front and rear wheels and tires when a CUT owner swapped to R4 pattern tires and was too impatient to move the rims over...got the 4 tires and rims for $150 so could not walk away. Those are NEW Carlisle Multi-Trac C/S turf tires on NEW JD rims -- I once looked up Deere's pricing on these but it scared me so much that I promptly forgot the number (suffice it to say it was many times $150, though)
