Can anyone recommend someone to rebuild my Onan out of my 1987 JD 316 in the Michigan area or the Midwest area?

Check out this guy in Cedar Springs. He's been running Craigslist ads in SW Michigan for the last 9 months or so. Haven't used him, but he says he rebuilds Onans. Worth talking to him. If you like what he says and you try him, let me know how it goes?

Here is one in Minerva Ohio. I Bought one of his Re manufactured Onan's and they have wicked power. He Pay's the shipping on your block as a core. I hope this help's, Kurt

These engines are pretty friendly to work on if you have any aptitude for mechanical work, some tools, and a bit of time. I rebuilt mine over spring break a couple years ago.

Seems like there was a guy up around Saginaw who specializes in onan engines. Search thumb craigslist.
