Hi, I have a JD 332, and I'm using a 49A single stage snow-thrower and I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of how they added a hydraulic motor to rotate the chute. I have a parker motor, and a hydraulics shop that can make the lines, I need help/ideas relating to mounting, and connecting the motor to the chute.

Shawn,

Check out the threads going on in the attachments section. There are a couple of them relating to hydro chute turn.

Easiest way I can describe it...instead of the long handle to turn the chute, insert a hydro motor in the place of the handle. All of the rest of the parts stay in place. To install the hydro motor, you will need a plate to bolt it to and longer legs on the bracket to make sure you have the clearance between the blower housing and the cable spool. There may be a new cable spool you can buy at your local farm and barn, but I used the parts from Surplus and tapped holes into the cable spool supplied by JD..
