The template is not 1:1 Scale if I recall correctly.

I centered the dimple in the HDAC mount (Feb 22 post) on the bump in the hood support for the exhaust pipe for the vertical location. This lines the hose up with the carburetor correctly. Moved toward the engine as far as I could with still leaving room for some clearance between the bumps so they wouldnt rub.
