A few weeks ago I posted that I bought an early model 316 with the Kohler k341 single.
It had spun the driveshaft on the hydro input shaft and ruined the shaft and the rear driveshaft hub. Luckily I had an old 317 parts tractor I swapped the rear end out of, and the rear driveshaft hub was only a $30 part.
Also had to replace the broken motor mounts.
Well, I finally got it all up and running well, had to ditch the Walbro carb that was on it and got an ebay Kohler carter Chinese copy. That works very well and it runs great.
After all these years finally part of the "hydro club"! I love mowing with it, I got the yard mowed in record time!
