working on a 36 inch deck and am having trouble getting the blades to line up. The deck is not in the best of shape and I am that at some time it has hit something hard enough to bend the deck. My question is how do I realine the blades. Tried to just step on the blade, even had my fat friend stand on it. No luck, any ideas?

So the fat friend did not work? haha

Do you mean the blades are bent? If they are I would just break down and buy new blades.

When I was a kid my grandad would never throw away blades and even when they wore out he would take them off and weld a new edge on them adding metal to the old blade....funny thing is it worked!!

No the blades are not bent the deck itself must be bent. my question is how do I bend it back and keep it in alinement?
