I got a Honda re-power in my 420 its a 671cm displacement. I cant figure it out what air filter I need.

The napa gold 6044 look like to be the right one for the newer GX670.
For the older engines the filter seem to need a hole in the center.

permanent marker on the under side of the hood makes it easy to remember as well as an oil filter # too

Yup the 6044 is correct. I got one today. $11.00 for a Wix one with our wholesale account at Orileys.
