Hey to all. Thanks for letting me join in. I have this John Deere that has no numbers on it, I would like to determine the model if someone can help me. Thanks for any help or where to look. My other one is a 110 Round Fender (1964) in pretty good shape, I just got a set of 4 tires for it, nothing special, HiRun from Tractor Supply for it, to replace the cracked and leaking ones. The Round Fender runs pretrty good but needs a clutch adjustment. The other tractor I have not tried to start yet

Looks like a early seventies 110 with the k181 8hp Kohler.

I’m interested in the loader on the tractor just to the right of the 110.

Thanks for welcome. I never seem to learn to look around at what is also in a picture I post. The Bolen's belongs to a friend, I am doing some repair work for him, his grandfather bought it new.
Obviously not for sale.

Welcome from Michigan!
I believe your RF is a 1965.
Interesting, it was represented to me as a 1964, the 5-digit serial number starts with 25. What is it that tells you it is a 1965. Please, not discounting your knowledge, just wanting to learn what to look for. Thanks
Well after looking at the paperwork I think I see where the 2nd owner made his mistake. Looks like you are correct plus it has a 4-speed trans. What were the things you noticed that indicated 1965 to you?

The main thing was the front axle. 63 & 64 had a square tube steel axle, JD went to a stronger cast I-beam axle in 65. Also first year for 4 spd trans and 5 lug rear hubs.
