Been finishing up the 70I, except the hood & decals:

Wife says "it looks like the little yellow tractor flipped it's lid"!

Now to start working on the hood:

Hope to wrap up the "70I" next week!

Lowell, The yellow on our tractors looks an awful lot like CC yellow. Hope we don't get our yellow colored brand brothers too stirred up! Maybe one of them can paint a Cub John Deere green. We are hoping to finish ours in about two weeks. Could get it done next week but want the paint to have curing time before assembly. I caused a catastrophe when I spilled some gas on the frame the day after it was painted and it wrinkled and lifted a big spot. Fitting the weight bracket also caused some scratches so we had to take the engine out for some touch up on the frame. Working on our hood now too.

Got some fiberglass laid down in the hood this morning;

Put the 70I to it's first job this afternoon, hauled a load of gravel with the 10P to the front of the drive:

Tow tractor mostly, but would like to find a #40 blade for it.

Still working on getting the hood smoothed up enough to paint. Have all the decals for it but the 70 I, supplier has been real slow with them! ~~ Lowell

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Got the hood painted yesterday. Ordered a low-back black seat, this one just looks too big! 70 I decals have been delayed, USPS processed them through NM facility on the 13th, I still don't have them!
Seller is looking into it, may send another set.

I'll try to get updated pics in a day or two. ~~ Lowell

Made up the "optional" tool tray today:

Also got the hood on:

Now, if I only had the rest of the decals!

The new low-back seat should be here first of the week. ~~ Lowell

Cookie, I'm afraid my paint jobs will never stand up to Jim's! I just like to make things & these little tractors fit the bill for me. Besides, don't want a parted out one to go to waste!!!!

Put the tray in this morning, good place for a dipstick rag:
