I actually had a 317 with the Onan engine at one point in my herd...It came as a sad, mistreated tractor with lots of pavement sealer on it and I cleaned it up a bit...

Here is a serial number to model year map from the PC1698:

Your serial number makes it a 1980 model.

Thanks for posting this attachment Chuck. It is especially useful to me in regards to rototillers. It gets confusing as to which one will bolt on to different 300 series tractors. I have a 322 with 2,700 hours. I sure hope it lasts another 2,000 since I now have a bunch of attachments for it including a loader that was adapted to it.
