Just picked up my first John Deere 318! 1986 Model I think and I ended up with it for 300.00! Now my questions for you pro's lol. Where would I look to find a new front grill for this? Also what all do I need to get the rear pto and 3 point hitch going?

there is a wanted section here and Ebay can be a good source for parts and PTO. do you know what RPM you need?

For the Hitch, look for Ruegg they have great reviews. Ad on top of page is them.

The standard rear PTO speed on the 318 is 2000 RPMs. What are you wanting to run off of the rear PTO? It will cost a several hundred dollars to add a rear PTO.

Congratulation's on now being in the 318 owner's Club you will like that Tractor very much they are Bullet Proof. E-bay has lot's of Part's for that Tractor they are Not common to see in Tractor salvage yard's as most guy's that have them like myself keep re-building them. All it will take to get the Three Point Hitch and Rear PTO Option is about a Grand.

Those Part's are Very pricey for the 318 I do Not have either of them on mine due to the High cost. I do have a Hydraulic Model 30 tiller that I run on mine but I have the Optional Rock shaft bracket's to mount it and the belly Pump to drive it's Hydraulic pump. I hope this helps, Kurt
