hello to all. Sorry but normally I'm a Craftsman GT owner, but have just picked up a pair of JD's. One is a 260, the other is a 265. Am trying to get the 265 up and running. Two into one deal. Both are complete. Live in Maine so don't know many JD gt owners up here, so will be looking for lots of help. Not sure these qualify as vintage or not.

The 260-265 are great machines. Big frame, dependable 17hp Kawasaki’s, big tt transmission. I have a center grading blade, a new plow blade and new snowblower for this model if interested in Templeton Ma. Probably the best/newer belt drive I can think of approaching in garden tractor territory.
