After Lurking and reading and research....the hunt has been on for a 332 since about April. I was ready to fork out up to $3,000 for a good tractor. Finally found one about 30 minutes from home on Craigslist for $1200 seemed to good to be true...but it wasn't. The fella even admitted after I picked it up that he realized he could have charged at least twice as much. I didn't even dicker....it was too nice of a tractor to pass up. Looks nice, runs great, just need to fix the deck.

1st Question to you experts is, I have a mower deck he threw in (it was on his junk pile, claimed he used it last year) its missing a front wheel mount (portion that is welded in place is busted off and missing)Serial number on deck is M01013X582612 and doesn't coincide with the any of the numbers on the pdf file I found here on WFM that has all the "rotary mowers" listed.

Good Point! After making sure I dotted the i's crossed the 't's and put a smiling face (9 year old son looking over my shoulder...and insisted) I forgot the question.

Is this a correct deck for this tractor?
Will a JD dealer repair this?

Mike,
Congratulations of the 332. However, for future questions and comments on your 332, be aware that this is not the forum for the older 300 series, like your 332. This is the Late Model Forum which, with some exceptions, is for models made after 1992. A 332 was made prior to 1992 and belongs in the Vintage forum or the Restoration and Repair forum.
