Uh oh, I've had a few, from a 52 3500 in high school, I put a 230 with a mcgurk tripower intake in it, then a corvair 95, 69 C 10, 307 3 on the tree, great fuel mileage, lots of torque, and rust,, then the Nissans, Toyotas, VW's, now I have a F350 super camper special with a nine foot long service box off a dually narrowed 12.5 inches for single rear wheels, 21" deep boxes, notched so they can set right up close to the frame, love those tool boxes! 10,k GVW, 3.73 gears, 351W, C -6, MSD,,, can't find pictures, oh well, just a 620 I stretched a cab on,,,,

My 87 Chevy with 79 bed and frame. Parked for now sadly, the cab mounts are rotting and coming up through the floor. View attachment 288018
And we like working on them too !!!
Nice!!!
I thought the bed looked a little too square/boxy for that generation of square body. Wife's '76 was a similar gray for it's last makeover, before it started rotting away.

here’s a couple pic’s of our ‘72. Haven’t drove it for a couple years, hopefully this summer. Had a cracked block & swapped it back to a th350 instead of the 700r. I’m still undecided as to what intake again. I like the twins, but gas prices & all. We don’t drive it a lot at this point, of im thinking run ‘em. After all how often do you see a old school build now a days. Love the pics of the old truck on this thread also! Awesome.

'86 C10 LB here in Washington State, I love these old trucks, and I can still work on them too! View attachment 288010
This ‘86 started its life in the great state of Washington where it never saw roadsalt! The first time I climbed underneath it and saw the absence of any rust at all my heart sang and I wanted it, no questions. Then the owner asked me “hey do you want to hear it run” I was already committed to buying in my mind but when she started it, it sang with a mild rumble of a 350, cammed, 4 barrel, 2 1/2” chrome headers with true dual exhaust I fell in love for a second time in 15 minutes! The truck was bright lemon yellow so I called her “ the rumble bee”. One of the best 2k$ purchases I ever made!!!

Jeff, I like the late model blazer grill in the 87 truck. I had a 85 short bed 2wd. I installed the blazer dash bezel, radio and steering wheel in it.
