That's cool but not what I was wanting. Any 400 series 420,430,ect pictures of paint, custom ideas stacks anything outside the box. I enjoy doing things different....
My custom 400 with a Wankel rotary motor from a Madza RX2. Equipped with a turbo from a Corvair Monza Spyder.
You can see it in person at the Springfield show in a few weeks along with a few others I have built. The Geo Deere, Low Ryder, G I Deere, 6 x 4, Aquadeere 2 and maybe Diesel Deere.
Bring your wallet, I might have one or two for sale.
Dennis, if you scroll through this thread you will see the picture of my PINK 430 that I built as a tribute to my wife. I have a small fortune invested in this tractor but it has been worth every dime to me. I use it on a regular basis and I have had it in two tractor shows this year.
Now that is awesome. Thats just what I was looking for. I was hoping to see some ideas of the 400 series. I figure everyone has rebuilt it back original, but few have changed it up a little. Kimme Deere and Darth VaDeere are awesome examples of what people can create.
I also have a 400 that "belongs" to my son CJ. Since my 430 is painted Chrysler "Panther Pink" he wants his painted Chrysler "Hugger Orange"............that remains to be seen.......lol
thanks chuck. I am in the middle of redoing the deck right now then it will look as good as the tractor. I have put 35 hours on this setup now and I am real happy with it.
erik it is a 722 but the 722 and 662 have the exact same external dimensions so it would fit just the same. its out of a kubota g1900. I had to get a stub shaft out of a Jacobsen for the electric clutch so you should be a step ahead. if you have any questions just ask.
Looks great Josh.
Im going to be putting a diesel into my 400. Its a mitsubishi L3E, rated at 19.9hp. I will be updating the oil cooler, driveshaft, and possible steering.
Any tips in squeezing a engine into the compartment?
