You're gonna need a crappy looking one now Grant with good mechanicals so you can baby these two and only mow with them on Sundays.

What is that deck off originally Merc?

Very nice 400 and an excellent upgrade! I tried an aftermarket suspension seat on one of mine but it was too tall. It was also awkward to get in the seat because of the wraparound armrests. Your seat looks right at home though. Pretty comfy looking too. Is that 400 in the Black Sheep thread? (y)
Thanks. Its a 54c from a JD 2210, i cuts wonderfully. Yes, I wanted to also installnthe sliding seat mechanism too, but like you said its too tall. I used a low profile ZTR seat suspension for about $100. The seat is also from a ZTR. I wanted max comfort, it has nut inserts for arm rests that I will eventually get. Im not sure if i posted in the Black Sheep thread.

(y) :) A really good day to go plowing from the looks of it. I really like trail plows. We had an old 3 furrow Oliver with 12" bottoms. It did such a smooth job it looked like we didn't really need to disk a field. Had to settle the soil down and cut heavier soil into smaller chunks too though. The sandy areas were almost fluffy after they were plowed. It was a trip plow. Just pull the rope once at the headland and it would lift itself out of the dirt, then jerk it again to drop it and start plowing.

Got some plowing in a Unionville Thresheree, Symco, WI

Tom, I have a 1969 H-3 140 with 3 pt lift that I bought 21 years ago and a 1971 120 that I bought 14 years ago. I have a
# 80 cart that I bought 15 years ago. Will post some pictures of these sometime. Need to post somewhere else since this is for 300 /400 series tractors
