I bought a 66 112 last week that might never had had a mower deck, and want to install a 110 38 deck under it. I think I have the proper hangers for the deck, but don't know about powering it. Do I need to add a clutch assembly to power a deck?

The PTO is just a belt tightener and related parts. The PTO came with the mower deck. You can see what the parts of the PTO look like in www.jdparts.com if you look up the 38 deck for tractors under 100,000. These are pictures of my 1966 110 and you can kind of see the PTO. Roger

You will need a throw out assy. Here's a couple of documents of the parts and a pic of it on the tractor.

Thanks, I watched that video yesterday and thought that might be what I needed, but wasn't sure. I found a couple on eBay and bid on one.
