Round Fender 36 snowblower question

I am getting a brass tag 36 blower ready for winter. Taking it on and off is a challenge and one thing that would make it a little easier would be the retainer chain shown in the photo. Does anyone have the measurements for this? Thanks

Bill, What was the length of the retaining chain? I want to try it on my RD blower.
