I am finally fed up with the boat seat on Dad's 317. The screws holding it on are no longer holding in the wood, too much pressure from weight has pulled one through. Found the post about a replacement seat showing the part number TY15863. When I did a search on JD parts online they showed three part numbers, ty15471, ty24335 and the original seat number am103153. Nothing with the number ty15863. So I checked the Keeping it Green site and it showed the seat, ty15863, and ty15471 as a seat kit with ty24335 as a cover. They don't show pictures so is this seat kit and cover for the newer seat or the old one? Have put the old seat back on for now, which was on my 314 since it's seat is in real bad shape. The seat has two big tears in the corners, a common issue I would imagine. I probably will use the cover I bought but it dosen't look real good on it but better than the foam showing. The cover is okay and the extra pockets are handy but you still kind of slide around on the seat which bugs me.

This is a TY15863 JD seat. It is a complete seat.
I have one on my 300 and 332.
You might want to add the Deere decal on the back.

I could live with that. It also looks like the ripping in the corners there between the back and the seat might not be as much an issue with the way it is designed. Even my L100 has a tear in that area. And yes if I get the seat I would add a John Deere decal and a WFM decal.
