I know several folks have asked about tires, me included, but I've never seen a whole thread of pics of tires, especially on 318s, my favorite model. Please show us your tires and what size they are. Thanks!

Chuck, sent you an e-mail.

I "logged" quite a bit of time with that set-up. Worked great. I have been waiting a year to get sod in at my house so I was ready to get going and do it right. Picked up my new 318 and went to work. Log weighed about 80-100 pounds I would guess. Tractor would crank it up no problem, even with me sitting on it too. First pass with the disk broke the surface crust, maybe penetrated 3-4 inches. Second pass was easy 6" penetration. Then I used an old pallet with some more logs for a drag. During the sodding process it was quite easy to grab the disk and touch up areas that we packed down with the pickup or trailer. Neighbor wants to use it for his yard now.

Tires worked great!

Here's Josh's '69 140 with 18x8.5 V61s on custom made rims and 26x12 Tru Powers. It still had the "100'foot" paint job then. A little different view...

Heres another set of option for fronts.

Firestone 16x6.5" tri rib fronts. 26x12x12 Firestone 23 degree rears:

Or my favorite combo for a 140 4x8" tri rib fronts with 23x10.5" rears

I did have the 4x8 tri-ribs on the 332 at one point but with all the weight up front they weren't wide enough for me.

Drew,

Thanks, I like them too. I made a bracket that adapted the new seat to the flip up portion on the 332, it was not a big deal. The newer seats seem to hold up real well. I bought a replacement one from Deere but the welting just kept peeling off, new style seats dont have that.
