I've put a New Ignition Switch in my 318, and getting ready to install an improvement kit along with the new switch. I got the Kit in the mail today. The only issue is that the kit says my Solenoid has a "Blade" terminal for the Purple wire. Well, My Solenoid has a Stud type terminal for the Purple Wire.

Should I just "Cut& Splice"??? I hate to do that, as it might cause headaches down the road.

Have any of you had a Solenoid with the Stud type terminal, rather than the Blade type?? Did you have in issues by Cutting & Splicing???

They make small electrical parts made from brass the have a hole to bolt to a switch stud and then bend 90 degrees with a 1/4 inch male fitting you can stick a wire on. Place like Radio Shack might have them. Roger
