I have a 1966 110H and in need of adjusting the variable speeds. Can anyone help me and give me good detail directions on the steps and what to do and what not to do and what to watch out for? Or am I better off having JD shop doing it and charging a but load? Could use more power in 3 and 4th gear. I can pull back the pedal and takes off faster. The variable speed lever is either all the way back to stop/lock or it's all the way forward and to go and not that fast on 3rd and 4th gear. Just needs a little living.
