I have a 420.
I know the 40 loader, is the Correct loader for the tractor. Which is just shy of impossible to find... and when found sells (in my area) for $3500.
I have an email out to someone, they listed a 45 Loader ($300) which is apparently for the X series tractors.
How far off is the 45? If I got the bracketry for the 40 loader would it drop on those brackets and work? I'm not afraid of building brackets either, so that would be OK as well.
I know the hydraulics are stronger on the newer tractors, but would the 420 actually be sufficient to operate it with the factory Hydraulics?
How difficult are they to take on and off. I realize they aren't as easy as the 120 loader on the 1025R's, but if it's just a 30 min situation, I can deal with that.
I feel like for the money, it's really hard to pass up.
