Can a 4.00-8 tire fit on a rim that would normally run a 16-6.50-8 tire. I am thinking about putting a set on the front my 67 Round Fender with 23x8.5-12 lugs on the rear. Are tubes required if the tire is a 4 ply? I am looking at a complete set of DEESTONE tires. Any information or opinion would be appreciated.

Yes and it looks like this. It is easier to install if you use tubes in the tires. Roger
