I have just about exhausted most resources I know. Does anyone know the torque spec. for the Check Valve and Implement Relief Valves? Technical Manual TM-1591 makes no reference to how tight they should be or any Sundstrand ref. material for the 15U series pump I have.

Dominico,
Thanks, I had not heard and still could not find the spec. I went ahead and torqued them at 35ft. lbs. based on the effort I used to take them out.
So I was close. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. Greatly appreciated!

I was a mechanic at a Deere dealer from 1976 to 2000. I rarely torqued anything. Mainly connecting rods, main bearings and heads. Occasionally a hydraulic valve assembly or the such, where torque was critical. Usually, I just made it tight. I had great success with this.
But...I did this all day everyday. After that many years, one gets the "feel" with a wrench.
When someone would ask me what the torque was, I'd say "Tight".
