I just got the bug for the Model 70. I now own 2 of them and would like to know what year they are. First one is serial # 060358 and next up is 037485M. Any help is greatly appreciated. One has a chrome type steering wheel (#2) and the other has rubber (#1)

Mike, using the "Type Code" and the serial numbers you have you can look them up in the registry. Assuming the type code is T2011 on both, the 060358 is a '74, and the other is a '71.
I cheated and just ran down the list to find a registered one nearest your numbers.

Thanks Tom ! I tried to use the registry but it didn't work for me. These are very cool little tractors indeed.
They will both be restored but mine might look more like a 110 when it's done. My wife is the one that loves the darn thing to begin with so hers will be stock.

There they are. The one with the deck is soon to be the replacement for Bugsy. It's all original, a 1971. Next up will be my hotrod, a 1974. Right now it has a Honda motor out of a pressure washer from what the PO says. I have a 8 hp B&S on the way with electric start. I plan on making that one look like a 110 much like the cat had up at Horicon.
Both will have footrests. There's really no place to rest your foot. I am now a big fan of these little tractors. Shannon warned me though that they are just like rabbits, and now I believe him !

Very true, not much rust at all if any. That's why I got them, easy to restore. I'm taking my wife's down to the shop tomorrow to start working on it. Volleyball starts Tuesday and I have some outside staining to get done so it will be awhile.
