What type of oil is required for the VH60/ VH70 engine?

run a good 30w oil in it.

How much oil is needed or required? 1 quart or more?

1 quart is all u should need.

1.5 pints. Which is 3/4 of a quart (24 oz).
I tilted my 70 up pretty high on the left side and let it drain overnight. Otherwise it seems to leave a lot of oil still in it. The manual tells you as well............Ed.
