I was wondering if there has ever been a discussion on mounting a small set of forks to be used on a front quick hitch? I would love to have one of Al Z's set of forks but I am lacking a three point hitch for my X495. I already have the front quick hitch so I would like to utilize that.
I was thinking something along these lines
Since you don't need hydraulic angle in this application, you could make things more complicated by using the second hydraulic circuit to add a lift cylinder/elevating mechanism and end up with a mini-forklift.
This is how I made my forks. Note that they are hinged on the lower mount points of the quick-hitch, then note the top link then keeps the forks level.
