the round fender Model 100...from early seventies. Opinions?

The model 100 lawn tractor came out in 1975 I believe to replace the 70. It had a 8 hp Briggs engine on it. It was replaced by two models in 1979, the 108, 30 inch deck, and the 111, 38 inch deck. The 100 had a 34 inch deck I believe. Finding parts for the 8 hp is almost impossible as Briggs does not support that engine anymore and there are no more OEM parts available.

I believe they are pretty much the same as the 60 and 70, but with a different hood and I want to say the PTO clutch is different as well (electric?). My little 60 is an awesome little workhorse, although it has a bit more power than Deere gave it.

Very much like a 70. Same manual clutch, different hood and steering wheel. And the 8HP Briggs was a better match, and lasted longer.

Yes, the 60, 70, and 100 are way different than the 110, 112. They are lawn tractors. Vertical shaft engine, smaller deck, smaller snowthrower, smaller plow. Although the 60 and 70 use the same hood as 110 and 112 RFs.
