I have been looking for a deck for my 69 140H3 and not willing to spend a lot. I have found two H047 decks locally and Craig's list for 200-250 and in good shape. One is an H047G the other a H047K if it matters. I looked at the charts and the decks are for the 200 series. I would like to know if they can be used on my tractor or what will need to be done to make them work. I don't want to waste money and time but if they could be used the price looked right. Thanks

It would take a lot of work to get those to work on a 140. The deck drive pulley is centered on the 140 decks and it is on the right side behind the lift arm on the H047 decks. The G and the K just denote different years of production.

That is just what I was afraid of.

Definitely a no for me. I saw one down the road and it looked to be in great shape and asked but the guy said it came off a 212 200$. I looked it up and found it to not fit and left it.

Today on CR one popped up and looked great all redone for 250$ and said it would fit 140.

Benton that is NOT a 140 deck but one for a gear drive. Roger
