does anybody have a wiring diagram for a 300 a friend of mine bought a 300 and the wiring is a little messed up he needs something to go by

Here ya go, very simple wiring. One suggestion is to make sure you have the correct ignition switch. There are several that look the same outside but are wired differently inside.
