The falling of the leaves brings with it the inevitable chute rotation threads. I think its time I upgrade the 49 blower to a hydraulic chute rotation like many others have.

Does anyone know of a cost effective (<$150) low speed hydraulic option? If so, can you provide the website and the part number?

Well, you need to get a hydraulic motor, hoses, a pulley and a bracket. Hard to see doing that for your price, unless someone is getting rid of theirs.
Cheapest motors, hoses and pulleys are at surpluscenter.com You would have to get the bracket fabricated I suppose. But I think it might cost more like $200 - $300 when all is said and done.

I found several on SurplusCenter for about $125, but all seem too fast even though they are low speed. I could have sworn I found some a while back that were super slow speed.

Why not use flow control valve to slow down rotation. You would need on each side of the hydraulic motor, but you would have full control of the speed in both directions.

Unfortunately, I have re-purposed my "tractor funds" for a used car purchase, so looks like I will put some tractor upgrades on hold until next year.
