Don't want to get in the middle of this, but my neighbor (76 years old) has a 1996 345 that he bought new and it still looks new. He has been very diligent with all service being done on schedule and at the JD Dealership. It now has a little over 800 hours. Earlier this year it got to where it would not idle - it would run fine above idle, but just will not idle. This is driving him nuts (and he is driving me nuts) :bash:. He took it to the JD Dealership and they rebuilt carburetor, charged him an arm and a leg and sill it would not idle. Then they replaced fuel pump - yep you're right, another arm and leg and still will not idle. He has asked me to help him, but I'm no mechanic and don't claim to be, so I thought I'd post this thread and see if any of you guys might have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Mark
