There is no need to 'bypass' the solenoid electrically -- if it is open internally it will not draw any power. But you do need the solenoid plunger to retract so fuel will flow to the engine for the diesel to start and run. You can either replace the solenoid or convert to a manual shutoff like on the 330. Just remember that the manual shutoff does not provide the same safety features of the original 332 system using the electric shutoff and the seat/parking brake/PTO switch interlocks.
From your second post it would seem that your engine is not even cranking -- is this correct? If that is the case, your fuel shutoff is not part of that symptom. Here is everything that is involved in the cranking of the 322 engine:
Let us know if you are indeed having issues with getting the starter to even crank over the engine and we can suggest some simple diagnostics.
By the way, if you jumper all the wires at the fuel shutoff solenoid together, you will likely cause some damage internal to the TDCM which is a VERY expensive assembly, so do not do that!
Buy from Deere...it will be the correct one. I think the original part number has been replaced by AM124379. You might be able to get an aftermarket one from other sources at a lower price, but it likely will not come with the correct connector in place...and of course it may not be a direct fit. This later part number is shown to fit many Deere tractors beyond just the 332, so the aftermarket ones may fit some other models and not yours.
Here is an annotated image from an aftermarket source -- do these dimensions match your original part?
