Hi Guy's,

I have a 425 AWS with a 54" deck and have problems with the Lift arms J pin slides through the deck and the lift arm. The pins keep working out so the pin is only going through the outer hole in deck and the lift arm then the deck will hang lower on that side. I put in new bushing ad springs i even put washers behind the spring. I even tried to tie the spring in did not work.

The hole on the inside of deck lift point is getting wore out. Has anyone found a way to fix this problem?

Has anyone tried to speed up the blade speed some? To get it closer to the front mowers blade speed. I just want it to cut the grass better and more suction under the deck??

Thank You

Deck Pins

HI flymo, Yes it is the inner bracket that the lift goes into. When pin comes out of the inner bracket hole. The deck does not cut level it can be up to 1/4"- 3/8" I could weld a washer over the hole. or drill it out and Machine a bushing to fit in the drilled hole

I Though That Deere Had Different bushing that went on the pins?? My be thinking of something less??

Thank You
