It looks the same as a 68 110,what I am gonna do is weld a washer to the frame and use part #'s 8,9,10,which is what the 69 110 uses

 

That is just a steel spacer and you may have a hard time removing the fender deck if you weld the same size spacer that is welded on the right side. Some 212 fender decks that I have taken off just had a 1/2" nut under there.

 

Nut. Washer stack. Pipe coupling. Isn't it welded onto frame? Maybe not. One model of tractor I have has a spacer welded on frame. Maybe the 212 has the loose spacer. They are heavy walled pipe. So a 3/4" hex nut would be about perfect.

 

ON the right side, the bushing is welded, on the left side, it is not, it is just a spacer. Hey, if it comes down to it, I can make one for you on my lathe if needed for the cost of shipping.

 

On the JD online catalog remarks for the part it says 1/4" x 3/4". So is it 1/4" tall? Or 3/4"?

 

It also calls it a bushing--pipe spacer. In the specifications it reveals it is 3/4 in length (tall) and the diameter that the 5/16 bolt will go through.

 

Thanks, Doug. That's what I thought on the height, but I wasn't certain. I've got a section of black pipe that I'll cut a couple of spacers out of.

 

I wonder why people make things so complicated. They sell bushings and spacers like that at the hardware store, the farm store, and lots of other places. I have used a nylon bushing a couple of times. Nice and quiet and no rust.

 

That's true, but bushings are not one-size-fits-all. That's why I was asking for the height.

 

Just a tad over 1/2'' I have taken flat washers and taped them to keep centered then slip them in.
