1975 John Deere 400 Garden Tractor with ag style tires, 60" belly mower deck, 54" front blade , 46" Snowblower. Engine serial is from 1978.
Picked up the tractor in 2023 as running with some oil leaks and all attachments functional. Original governor casting broke during leak repairs and I haven't had time to get it running reliably with the replacement. At this point I need the garage space more than the project.
Has brand new carburetor from iSaveTractors, new spark plugs and a new hydraulic cooler bypass hose installed. Gaskets on valve covers, governor assembly and intakes have been replaced. Oil changed with new filter after gasket work. Also included are the original governor assembly, original carburetor, original hydraulic cooler, original 1975 version battery box/engine bay divider, remainder of iSaveTractors K532 gasket set, an extra intake manifold and untested carburetor, as well as a set of reprinted Owners and Service Manuals.
Will need to have means to pick up as my tow vehicle is currently out of commission.
