I have requested written permission to disclose Harbor Freight Product Support's reply to my eMail. No reason that I can see not to but they include a restriction on their eMail to not share with a third party without prior written permission.

Anyone that may want an air filter (AIR CLEANER ASM (142)) for the Predator 670 (61614) should call 1-888-866-5797, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (PST). DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU NEED IT TO ORDER.

I roughly measured the filter 8 5/8" X 6 3/8" X 1 1/8" *** There is a hole to allow passage of a stud that is used to contain the air cleaner top cover and knob.

I also roughly measured the Honda GX620 and GX670 filters 8 3/4" X 6 7/16" X 1 1/4" Their plastic frame has a support about where the hole is in the HF model.

I have had no luck finding the measurements for the Lifan 22 HP but from what I can see there is no hole in the middle of the filter.

I asked the seller if the hole was included in all his filters.
I did find another later in the search returns that also included the "housing of the filter" maybe that could be adapted?

Would you mind measuring your air filter element (in inches if possible). Looks like I mis measured both the Honda filters.

I saw this filter on eBay with the housing box but it's the old style.
Look carefully, the filter have a hole in the center.

Long time ago a member here complain about this filter setup, he found little dust under the filter.
Honda had probably more complain and they made the new one to solve this problem.

Thanks Andre the Harbor Freight Predator 670 has the hole in the filter There is a "washer type device" that goes over the prefilter on the stud (of course I promptly lost it when I took the filter out for measurement) that maybe to help block the hole from dust?

The clone may have changed things 'just enough' to avoid Honda. Otherwise maybe replacing the housing box with Honda's old style maybe worthwhile or even their new style?

With the old one if I remember the problem was not at the enter hole.
The plastic was probably too soft to apply enough pressure all around.

Shady I ordered one from Everest that shows the hole in the center. It is suppose to fit the gx670 620 and the 670. I gave 14$ for it with shipping . When it comes if it is the right one I will send you part number and purchase info. in inches it ends up between fractions but roughly the base is 6 7/16 X 8 11/16 and the body is 5 15/16 X 8 3/16 X 1 1/8 tall

I don't see the drive shaft adaptor specific for the predator at small eng warehouse

Also with the Honda adaptor and a new new yoke it's possible to move the engine to the front or rear.
Also the Honda adaptor is smaller and allow more air flow to the cooling fan.

This setup is for the Honda GX670, I can't confirm if it match with the Predator.

Other then the engine what is the total parts list to complete this repower my self?

An adapter to connect the flywheel to the Deere drive shaft

longer choke and throttle cables(Lowes has a throttle cable with the kink to mate to lever in dash)

misc spade connectors to wire it up

some steel plate to mount engine to tractor

also if I were to do it again I would get a drainzit or something similar installed before I filled it with oil

Why not just drill new holes in the current plate the motor bolts to
